What web hosting company supports Java and has a killer e-commerce function?

Please reply only if you know–for sure–that the host supports Javascript and provide a link if possible that shows functionalities. Thanks!

I would strongly recommend Bluehost as they allow Javascripts and have Unlimited hosting. It also comes with Fantastico which will also auto install e-commerce websites for you.

The great thing about Bluehost is it will also give you $50 in Google Adwords credit & a $25 Yahoo Advertising credit w/ a free domain.

This is a great investment for a starter business and for more details you can just go to http://www.ibuyknowing.com/redirect/bluehost.com

You can also talk to me live for any free website assistance you need by going to http://www.stillaftermath.com/ and using our live chat feature.

    I hope this was helpful!

I suggest you have a look at http://www.hosting24.com they will register a domain name for free for life and come with unlimited webspace and unlimited data transfer and you can go with them on a monthly basis.

They come with a website wizard and plenty of ready made scripts to accomplish what you are after.

Also when you sign up with them if you enter in a discount code they will give you 25% off their ridiculously cheap hosting plans. code to use is 25OFF

I host all my sites there and have been more than pleased with their help and support which is available by phone support! I hope this helps

I recommend one of these: http://www.hosttell.com/

Powweb is on a 50% sale – $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them.

They support Javascript, and include these E-Commerce solutions:

    ZenCart
ZenCart truly is the art of e-commerce; a free, user-friendly, open source shopping cart system. The software is being developed by group of like-minded shop owners, programmers, designers, and consultants that think e-commerce could be and should be done differently.

    osCommerce
osCommerce is an online shop e-commerce solution that offers a wide range of out-of-the-box features that allow online stores to be setup fairly quickly with ease. It is an e-commerce framework solution that not only remains easy to setup and maintain, but also makes it easier for store administrators to present their stores to their customers with their own unique requirements.

    CubeCart
CubeCart is an eCommerce script written with PHP & MySQL. 100% template driven, XHTML & CSS valid, plug and play shipping/gateway/affiliate modules, tax by state/zone or country, multi currency support, email marketing, inventory stock control, sell digital & tangible goods and more.

personally when it comes to e-commerce features, you should go for jump launch, bluehost or fatcow.
i am using jump launch for almost a year now for hosting my 3 website including an online store and so far i am totally content with the service.cheap, reliable and finally i found a friendly dedicated tech support.
their basic plan (which i use) is for $60/year with free domain and other bonuses like google adwards and yahoo credits (which is a plus so you can promote your website), it includes full ecommerce features and user friendly scripts ( forum creation, message boards, blogs…etc) and yes it does support java

my friend as well uses fatcow and so far he likes it..i think they are running a promotion right now for $66/year.

but i think you should check out http://www.freewebs.com/ultimatewebhostingcomparison/
it is a comparison website for top hosting providers (including fatcow, bluehost, jump launch..) their hosting plans prices, features, bonuses and a review rating on each one based on a poll rated by actual users
i think that would be worth checking so you can consider your possibilities fairly :) you can contact them for promotion coupons as well ( they will be glad to offer some )

hope that helps and if you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me emzy2310@yahoo.com…i have used several web hosting services over the past 3 years so maybe i might be able to help :)

If you are looking for JAVA support, there is only one I know: http://www.mochasupport.com/aff/idevaffiliate.php?id=729

If you are talking about Javascript, then most other webhosts support this because it is actually executed on the browser, not on your host server.

Most webhosts nowadays come with somekind of ecommerce support via Fantastico. If you are having problem choosing a web hosting with ecommerce function to use, I suggest you do the following:

    1. Go to the webhost review sites such as webhostingjury, hostingsthatsuck.com or webhostinggeeks and list down about 3 common top hosting companies.

    2. Next, for each web hosting X, do a “X sucks” search on Google. Read some complaints and see if you may encounter the same problems like them. Some of the complaints may relate to certain groups of users only such as VPS, dedicated server users or resellers. So you may not be affected if you are not from these categories.

    3. Eliminate those hostings you feel uncomfortable with, and look for the best bargain hosting for your money.

Some good hosts to start with are Fatcow, Justhost and InMotion.

    Good luck.
